The Distributed Intelligent Systems and Data (DISyD) laboratory of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Peloponnese,  established by law in 2020, serves on one hand the needs for Education and Training of students, graduates and professionals and on the other hand, is active in R&D projects and services at regional, national and international level.

DiSyD lab serves the following research disciplines: Distributed Systems – Distributed Computing, Distributed Data Bases, Unstructured Information Data Management Systems, Distributed Data Mining Systems, Big Data Management Systems, Big data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Ubiquitous Computing Systems, Cognitive Computing.
